I chose Jaycee Dugard’s memoir A Stolen Life to read for the project. I saw on a Dateline special about her kidnapping and the search Dugard. I am interested in how life is from the perspective of a young kidnapped child, how it effected her, and how it still effects her today. I am unsure about what abstract topic this book goes with, i just want to figure out while reading it.

Despite popular beliefs of all celebrity marriages failing, this article shows couples that have lasted throughout the years. Some of couples mentioned in the article are Will and Jada Pickett Smith lasting 14 years, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill lasting 15 years, and Denzel and Pauletta Washington lasting 28 years.

This blogger explains the recent celebrity break ups, including Katy Perry and Russel Brand and Kim Kardashian and Kris Humpries. Celebrities that dated for a short amount of time and got married quickly with bad results. I believe they rushed into a marriage too fast. I mean, Katy and Russel only dated each other for a couple of months before they married each other. I do not believe that is an adequate amount of time to know someone enough to get married to them. Brand and Kardashian filed for divorce because “irreconcilable differences,” like eighty percent of all people getting divorced.
