The best idea of this millennium is being able to have easily share people’s ideas and opinions. The website YouTube has this idea because its easy to access to videos; the website and even has a share button to put the video on other popular websites, like Twitter and Facebook. It is the best idea because everyone should be able to express their views openly to whoever is willing to listen. Viral videos from YouTube are an example of people’s ideas and opinions getting to others around the world easily and quickly. Other sites like Tumblr easily share people’s ideas to their followers through text, pictures, music and videos.
Recently, the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) bill was aimed at stopping online trafficking in copyrighted materials. The bill was stopped after many online sites had a blackout, meaning a lot of their websites would be censored if SOPA bill was passed and made into law. The documentary is a big eye opener for me. The answers to Why We Fight aren’t as simple question asked. A job, somewhere to belong, stability, among other things lies. I felt betrayed when someone you trust, like a government official, lie to justify a war that costs lives and billions of dollars. America (or citizens that can vote) elected officials to reflect the values of that voter. America spends majority of money on defense, but this documentary made me question if all the money spent on defense on is completely necessary and is the government completely telling the truth.

The link above explains family dysfunction and how it is caused. For example, Untreated mental illness is one cause of family dysfunction. Kids that grew up in dysfunctional family households are more likely to have mental health problems, like depression and anxiety, distrust others, or later be a dysfunctional parent to their own children.

Family conflict between a mother and a child can be for a reason, like family dysfunction. The link above defines family dysfunction, not as occasional hurt, arguing, and misunderstanding, but as negative behavior from parents constantly hurting the children’s life. Parents can be inadequate, by being mentally or physically sick, abusive, or have a serious addiction. Family dysfunction is the root to a lot of conflicts because the victims become emotionally, mentally, and maybe even physically damaged from the horrible childhood experience.
